Dry Needling

The Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners determined in 2014 that the practice of dry needling is in the scope of practice for Louisiana chiropractors who have completed an approved course not less than 50 hours. Dr. Mroski completed the course in 2018 and has been offering this service to his patients at Northshore Chiropractic in Mandeville ever since.

Dry needling uses sterile, very thin, solid filament needles that are precisely placed in order to release scar tissue, stretch fascia, and promote healing. As a result, patients are able to obtain long term relief from musculoskeletal conditions that have been lasting for years. The needles are so fine that there is little to no pain with this procedure. Many patients report a feeling of well being following the procedure and have improved sleep.

Conditions commonly treated using dry needling include, but are not limited to back pain, neck pain, headaches, tendonitis, shoulder pain, fibromyalgia, trigger points, repetitive stress injuries, plantar fascitis, and more. Come see Dr. Mroski and find out if dry needling can help!
